Did you know?
Thanks to this public service announcement, I am now aware of three things:
1. Gay Marriage infringes on the rights of bigots to live their bigotty lives full of bigotry.
2. Socially conservative people still love to use ominous, fear-inspiring motifs in their propaganda.
3. A “rainbow coalition made up of people of every creed and color” can still be a bunch of assholes.

When searching for “lesbian sign” on yahoo, it makes you turn off your “safe search” function. No images appear. When you turn off “safe search” you see some pretty graphic signs of lesbians.
When searching for “homosexual sign” on yahoo, you get political signs, which is what you were looking for to begin with. You do not have to turn off your “safe search” to view those signs, even if they say “fuck you, I’m gay!”
Lesbians must be too busy having hot lesbian sex to make political signs.

So, I was going to blog about my love for Days of our Lives and how it was such a stereotype that the “at-home” mom crowd sits around watching soaps and eating bon-bons all day. I’m not sure exactly where that came from, but I distinctly recall Peg from “Married with Children” doing just that.
Really, its not such a bad plan, particularly if you look like Katey Sagal who, by the way, is the 4th “Katie” variant to enter my vocabulary this week. Not that that has anything to do with this blog. Katey Sagal is hot, in a weird way. That’s all I’m sayin’.
I actually have some bon-bons in my freezer. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of chocolate and I can’t eat ice cream, so I’m kind of blowing the stereotype. And, I don’t actually watch Days until after my kids are in bed, because they’d just interrupt all the good scenes. Maggie’s hair looks exceptionally cool this week, by the way.
In closing, I just wanted to add this…
Ricky Martin was on General Hospital. Bon-bons. Soap operas. Katey Sagal.
The End.

Of course, bullies take many forms, and present their bullying in many ways. Step forward Emily Mapfuwa and her backers, the Christian Legal Centre, who have launched a civil suit against the Baltic gallery in Gateshead after it exhibited Chinese artist Terence Koh’s plaster Jesus, complete with comedy erection. Mapfuwa sought out the offence, and then ‘reacted’ in an extreme manner.
